Spring Symposium - From Cradle to Grave: The Chromatographic (Analytical) Method Life Cycle
ChromSoc & JPAG (Joint Pharmaceutical Analysis Group)
Thursday, 10th May
The ChromSoc and PASG are pleased to announce the one-day meeting. It had a full and exciting topic and speakers program that has been purposefully designed to facilitate delegate and exhibitor access to a wide range of scientists, many of whom are leaders in their field.
The meeting seeks to provide a clear insight into successful strategies in critical areas including method development, validation, transfer and life-cycle managements in the Pharmaceutical Industry along with the latest regulatory expectations, specifically around QbD (Quality by Design) and permitted chromatographic methods changes according to main Pharmacopoeias.

BMSS, ChromSoc and RSC NWAD Summer Studentships 2018
Each summer, the society co-funds a 6-8 week summer studentship with BMSS (British Mass Spec Society) and RSC NWAD (Royal Society of Chemistry North West Analytical Division) .
The studentships are focused on involving the student in scientific research resulting in a report, the report may be shared via society's publications and associated websites. Many studentships have led to academic publications and talks.

The studentships receive funding based on their mass spectrometry and/or chromatography content, relevance to current topics, novelty of the project, deliverables and the development of the student. Some degree of matched funding will be looked upon favorably.
